A movement built on intentional choices

About One Shot Notes

It is not really about the paper.

One Shot Notes is an intentional-living movement with a very practical habit: leave something good behind while you have the chance.

Sometimes that looks like encouragement. Sometimes it is a laugh at exactly the right moment. Sometimes it is the quiet reminder that another human being noticed the world could use a little more hope and did something about it.

A little more Holly, please.

We are not trying to be precious. We are trying to be real. A note can be thoughtful without sounding like it was written by a committee. It can say, “You’ve got this,” or “Congratulations, you found proof that good people are still sneaking around.” Both count.

The One Shot Challenge

Leave one note. Brighten one stranger’s day. Share the story if you want. Then invite someone else.

That is the whole ritual. No perfect placement, no online audience, no gold star required. Just a small decision to put something good in motion—because we only get one shot at this life.

The stories are the hero.

The note is the beginning, not the finish line. In time, a QR code will let each note collect the places and people who carried its story forward. Until then, the invitation is beautifully simple: make someone’s day a little better, and see what happens next.
